set 'enter grades as grading scheme' in Canvas

I have only two options in gradebook - enter as points or enter as percentage. I have selected 'enable course grading scheme' in settings but it is not showing for one assignment in gradebook (it is showing for the first assignment).

What do I need to do to have it appear as an option for entering grades for the second assignment.

@KayDonovan You want to choose this when you create the assignment.  In the assignment setup, you choose how you want to enter the score:

The "Letter Grade" option takes advantage of the grading scheme you have enabled.  You should be able to switch this even if students have already started submitting.
