student work not shown in grading preview

I have SCORM resources that are being imported to Canvas with LTI v1.2. The resources load fine for teachers and students, and students can resume in- progress work. In the grading section, the auto- calculated grades will show correctly for the student work. But there is no way to see the student's actual responses. In the gradebook for this student's assignment, it says "No Preview Available."
