Our students have a number of optional units for each degree programme.
We therefore need one virtual space where we can share frequently asked questions, discussion forums and handbooks which are relevant to all students on the programme regardless of which optional units they have selected.
lWhat is the best way to set up a programme space or virtual common room In Canvas to achieve this ?

Hi @HelenGraham ...
I'm not sure if this is the *best* way, but a long time ago I wrote a blog post here in the Community about using external groups (outside of a normal Canvas course). Since then, when I was still at the school where I wrote that blog, we had moved from using those Groups to creating normal Canvas course shells instead...which has all the features of a regular course.
