why I can not add people to my course?

why I can not add people to my course as a instructor role? The button is turning into grey.

Depending on the permissions your school's local Canvas administrator (or your school's Online Learning/eLearning department) has set, instructors may or may not be able to manually add students to courses.  You may need to have a conversation with folks at your school about this.  It could also be that the start/end dates in your course "Settings" are outside of the current date...which may also prevent you from adding additional people to the course.  You may be able to change these dates on your own.  If not, have a chat with folks at your school who can help you with this.
