Upcoming Canvas Changes
2022-10-15 Depreciation: Numerical variable substitutions will be changed to string values. Feature Announcement: Calendar Event Title Tooltip will be enforced in the Canvas interface for all users. For more information, please see Upcoming Canvas Changes.

In this Canvas release (17 September), in Blueprint courses, updates to New Quizzes sync across courses and Item Banks are supported.

Feature Options

Feature options allow institutions to enable newly developed Canvas functionality according to their preferred time frame. Unless otherwise noted, all feature options are opt-in and do not require any action by a Canvas admin until a feature’s enforcement date is announced. For a complete list of feature options, please see Canvas LMS Feature Options.

A feature preview label indicates a feature option in active development, which is being built directly through user feedback. Feature previews deploy updates outside the regular Canvas release schedule and are posted in the Related Releases section in Canvas Releases & Deploys.

Summary

When a New Quiz is updated in a Blueprint course, admin and instructors can sync the changes across courses.

Change Benefit

This update allows admin to update content or grammatical errors in New Quizzes using the blueprint and sync the changes across courses.

To update changes made to a New Quiz in a Blueprint course, click the Sync button.

Additional Details

Previously, after an initial blueprint sync connection with a New Quiz, changes to a New Quiz Blueprint did not sync.
