@audra_agnelly, I believe the answer to your question is no. I believe that because it appears to be a completely different placement, providing a tool/app with an opportunity for your institution to make it available with a higher-level of prominence and less clicks.
In my institution's beta environment I edited (without expecting it to work but to see where the placement was and the basics of configuring/editing) an already existing current developer key.

Based on that, if this tool's/app's developer key is configured/edited properly and supports the placement, I believe this is what the experience would look like from an instructor and student perspectives. Obviously the experience may vary depending on the tool/app.
