How can I edit a student last name?

If there is a misspelling in any last name, how can we rectify it? I cannot find a way to do it without changing the email by which the student was registered.

You may need to talk with your school's Canvas administrator or someone from your school's Online Learning / eLearning / Distance Ed department. It may not be possible for students to update their name in Canvas on their own. However, if the student contacts someone at the school, they should be able to help.
