eportfolio and turnitin

Hi I want to ask when submitting the eportfolio link through assignment submission link does it detect plagiarism from turnitin?

I am fairly confident that ePortfolios and Turnitin aren’t integrated together (at least, not from what I’ve seen).  Turnitin usually is looking for a file submission like a Microsoft Word document or a PDF file.  However, let’s ping @dhulsey to be absolutely sure that I’m telling you accurate information.  Dallas is my “go to” when Turnitin questions come up that I’m not 100% sure of.  Hopefully, he will be able to shed some light on this for you.  Good luck!

To the best of my knowledge, a portfolio would not be checked through Turnitin because a student would submit a link to the portfolio, not the files, right? Although, it is also true that portfolios are not a Canvas feature that I personally use, so I am not an expert on the portfolios.

I would agree with you.  I don’t think there would be any way to connect ePortfolios to Turnitin.
