In a recent conversation, I heard Canvas Studio content created by e.g., a teacher or professor at a previous school or university can be accessed if they change positions or also teach for another e.g., school system, university, etc. with a separate "instance" of Canvas. Is this accurate? If not, that would be nice. If so, how? 🙂

@BrianLester ...
According to this Guide, How do I share media with a user in Canvas Studio? - Instructure Community - 1723 (canvaslms.com), the first bullet point in the light blue box under the bold heading "Notes:" states:
"You can only share media with verified Canvas Studio users. A user is verified when they view embedded Studio media in a Canvas course in which they are enrolled."
You cannot add external e-mail addresses to share Studio videos in this way.
You can, however, create a public link which you could give to anyone you wanted. So, if someone does not have the link, he/she won't know how to access the public link.
How do I get a public link or embed code for media... - Instructure Community - 1712 (canvaslms.com)
Hope this helps.
I'm not sure if this is possible - when I try to share a video or a collection within studio to an external email address I just get "not found"
Same issue even as a Studio admin

I appreciate the feedback. Faculty/teachers who teach for more than one institution or who move to a new institution are at risk of losing content such as the content they create in Canvas Studio. It would be nice if the Canvas Studio content could stay associated with a teacher/faculty member if they move to another institution or system.
