[ARCHIVED] Studio not recording screencapture option

I have an instructor using an up to date Macbook trying to record a video using the Studio screen capture option. When she records, Studio only records the computer background image and no applications, programs or browser windows that she has open. The Word document she wants to record is open and showing before she begins the recording, but when she records it is not there. She can record fine with the webcam and when she does both, it only records the webcam. She is using Chrome, which is up-to-date. Any ideas why Studio will not record anything during a screen recording besides her computer background?
