Canvas analytics - LTI

Hi, I am new to using analytics in Canvas. What do you sugegst would be the best place to start in order to get some user analytics?

Are there some LTI's anyone can recommend?

For clarity purposes: are you saying you want to pull the data out of Canvas and into something else? Or...are you just talking about the need to read analytics? (There are already some good analytics inside Canvas for the course, though they are very instructor-focused and do not cut across courses.) What were you needing?

I just need to read the analytics but would like to get the basics as well as to be able to dig a little deeper to get more detailed data.

The analytics in the course are pretty good to get a general idea:

There are also Admin reports, but that is more raw data than analytics. 

After that, if you want to do more detailed analysis of user behavior and other data, that's where the Canvas API and Canvas Data Portal come into play (where you can pull data and analyze it to create your own analytics for decision-making). It's in your best interest to look and get familiar with Canvas already crunches for you and displays. 

If you have specific question on what you are trying to discover, feel free to post and we can help you know where to find them in the analytics, or whether you need to develop those on your own through pulling the data yourself.
