Hello,
I've been testing adding outcomes to my courses on the free for teachers site (https://canvas.instructure.com )
In doing this, I've created/deleted a lot of courses to start fresh every now and again.
What I've run into is that when I import an outcomes csv I get an error like "Row 3: Outcome with ID db656dba-3ee7-423e-9020-626812d8c8d3 already exists in another unrelated course or account (StandardsTest10-31-18)"
But I have already deleted this course, so there's no way to do anything about the problem.
What this does is it makes for the groups to import correctly, but the outcomes do not. I think what's happening is that the outcomes imported for previous courses still exist in a db or something and they are preventing the new records from being created (though I'm not super sure why the groups seem to import okay, those IDs are reused as well).
Anyhow, how can I delete all outcomes I have created regardless of what course they were created in?
Preferably, this would be a mass delete rather than clicking on each group to delete, my import contained a lot of groups.
I have a similar question. When I go into my file of rubrics, I have the rubrics of all courses that I have been put into a as a teacher in order to help other teachers in the creation of their Canvas course as we work to develop a defense to get our district to purchase our own Canvas site. Most of these courses I am now no longer listed as a teacher, but i still have all these files of rubrics created. This makes it super difficult to find my rubrics. Is there a way to eliminate all the class groupings of rubrics that I don't want to use? I use outcomes in my rubrics as we are a standards based grading district and with those odd rubrics that I at time accidentally use, I end up with messed up trending.
I am running into the same issue with trying to update outcomes for our campus. It is throwing that error for every standard in every course that a teacher has imported outcomes into. I am at a loss as to how to move forward with uploading the updated outcomes outside of changing the outcome number for each .csv file I am trying to upload.
