Developer LTI Keys - Looking for "Placements" Descriptions

When adding a LTI 1.3 Developer Key, there are many options under the "Placements" dropdown (Account Navigation, Link Selection, Assignment Edit, etc.). I'm looking for a document that explains the function of each of these options. I searched this forum as well as Google, but haven't been able to find an explanation yet. Thank you!

The best page I know of for this, though I don't know it's 100% complete, is Placements Overview - Canvas LMS REST API Documentation.  Could you take a look and let us know if the documentation provided there meets your needs?

Thank you, @chriscas for this link! It's helpful to know where users encounter the choices. What I'm curious about, though, is a more detailed explanation of each. For instance:
* for student's assignment_view, isn't this dependent on the instructor making a selection in assignment_selection, for instance?
* is student's homework_submission tab also related the the instructor selecting the integration in assignment_selection?
* how are assignments_index_menu placements different from course_assignments_menu?

I think a few more details on these would really help. If one is reliant on another, it should be explained somewhere.
