Not displaying Content for Tagged Users

Hi

Am testing this feature out

• In a training course I selected some demo students and created a new tag
• The tag label appears alongside the students
• When I check manage tags, I can see that it says 3 students
• If create a module that contains some assignments, discussion, text header, quiz, and a page and assign it to the tag group, then….
• When I masquerade as students in that tag group, I only have visibility on the page, discussion and text header

Is this the correct behaviour? Does it only work with some elements

I tried to replicate this.  On my first try, I thought I'd gotten the same results as you.  I could see pages and links, and a quiz, but not the assignment I had in the module. 

However, when I looked closely, I saw that the assignment I'd randomly included was a no-submission assignment, which evidently don't show up in modules when students view them, even though they show up to instructors. (Who knew?).

Anyway, curious if your results are related to assignment type.

@rake_9 I see no submission assignments when I use the "view as student" button. Is there documentation that says no-submission assignments are not supposed to show? (I didn't test this with tags yet bc I can't mascarade as a student and it's a PITA to test it with a dummy student, but using the View as Student button shows non-submission assignments that are not tagged.)

Well, heck.  The No Submission assignment is showing up today when I impersonate a student.  No Idea.  Gremlins.

Same for me, I assigned a module to a tag and masqueraded as a student in the tag and they can only see some content. I checked each item in the module and it shows that it's been assigned to my tag, so I'm not sure why they can't see certain items.
