In the traditional view, the submit button used to be on the left and is now on the far right. My instructors are often not clicking the Submit button and going to the next student, and losing their rubric selections. Moving the Submit Button to the left would make it easier for instructors to complete the rubric in traditional view (and other views) when they click Submit.
Hi Scott,
Totally get how that shift in button placement can cause some frustration, especially when it leads to lost work. We're actively redesigning the rubric experience in Speedgrader, and part of that includes making the submit flow more intuitive. You can expect a better experience around this soon - really appreciate you flagging it!
Thank you @ScottHahn for raising this concern initially and @YasiAfsharnive for acknowledging the need for the redesign.
Do we have an update on when we can expect the redesign to go live? Thank you!
When will this be fixed?
Hi @MatthewCrouch. We're hoping to have the updated experience in production by the end of September.
Is there a place where we can request this?
Yes! English reads from left to right, not the opposite. I simply cannot get adjusted, and have lost many comments.
I see that the inclusion of a "complete" indicator has been added, but that does not address the issue of the button being on the right. It still requires a lot of scrolling when trying to get through scoring using rubrics. Still problematic. Thanks for your consideration.
Hey @dking2 @reenie_arnold, thanks for sharing. Definitely capturing this feedback for future design iterations. One thing to note - the submit button should stay visible on the screen regardless of the SpeedGrader width and/or the rubric length. Ideally, even though it is on the right side, it should stay visible when at all times when scrolling.
