Hello! I have been trying to delete my account with no success. I would appreciate if someone could help me delete it. Thank you in advance!

What account are you trying to delete?  An account where you take courses within Canvas?  This account here in the Canvas Community (which is separate from where you have your courses)?  Something else?  Could you provide some additional information for us?  Depending on your response, there will be different solutions for you.  Thanks!

Hi there, @AlejandraF ...

If your school is using a paid Canvas account, you would need to talk with someone in their Online Learning / eLearning / Distance Education department about the possibility of removing your account.  We here in the Canvas Community couldn't do that because we don't have access to your school's Canvas environment.

If your Canvas URL looks something like: https://SchoolName.instructure.com where SchoolName is the name of your school, then you are using a paid Canvas environment.  If your Canvas URL looks similar to https://canvas.instructure.com, then you are using the FFT (Free For Teacher) version of Canvas.

As for removing your account here in the Canvas Community, you can check out this Guide: How do I close my account in the Instructure Community?.

Hello  @Chris_Hofer! Thank you for your insights. My Canvas URL is a https://canvas.instructure.com, It's a FFT version of Canvas. I would like to know how can I delete it or if someone from the support team can delete it for me. Thank you!
