I am using the Free for Teacher site. I have created many quizzes in "Classic", but now want to start using New Quizzes.
However, I am unable to enable it. In Settings, I can "disable" classic quizzes, but I cannot turn on "New Quizzes".
I am the admin and the sole teacher, so I should be able to do all of this.
Any suggestions? Thanks, Lori

Hi there @LoriGoldstein ,
Unfortunately, new quizzes is not available with free for teacher and is only available to paid canvas accounts. Free for Teacher only provides you with access to course-level admin and not institutional admin (only instructure employees have institutional admin for free for teacher), and since this is a setting that must be unlocked at the institution, or root account level, this is not something you are able to enable for your course.
I will provide a link below to a comparison chart with details that show you the features available with FFT compared to a paid Canvas account. I hope this helps! https://www.instructure.com/canvas/free-for-teacher/account-comparison
Best,
Noah
@LoriGoldstein ...
I would recommend that you reach out directly to Instructure. Pricing is different for each school/business that wants to use Canvas as their LMS, so I don't know that you'd get a firm price by asking here in the Community. Use the links at the top of the Instructure home page to request a demo and get in contact with someone from the Instructure team.

Hope this helps!
Hey @LoriGoldstein ,
In addition to the information provided to you by Chris, I wanted to mention that usually paid canvas accounts are purchased by schools or entire school districts and not just by individual educators. Last time I got information on pricing, I think it started around a few thousand dollars for a couple hundred users, which can certainly be expensive for individual educators. HOWEVER, I absolutely recommend reaching out to sales specifically for additional information, as they would have more up-to-date and accurate information than I would. I just wanted to provide you with a little more additional insight.

Thank you. Do you happen to know the price to upgrade for a small company like mine? One or two teachers, max of 30 students at any one time.
