Group Calendars

Hey all!  I just recently found the "groups" function to organize the participants in the course more.  I'd like to use this function for group communication and calendar invites for Zoom meetings.  I'd like to hear from individuals who have used this section of Canvas and the pros and cons!  Does Canvas send calendar reminders for me?

Welcome @AddieReinhard ,

You can utilize your user account's notification settings to adjust different notifications for the calendar. You can also use groups for messaging specific students in groups while utilizing the Canvas Inbox feature. 

Unfortunately, the appointment scheduler is not available in Free for Teacher, so you would not be able to schedule appointments using the calendar through Zoom.
