I'm doing a course with just 35 students (adults), and I'm new to Canvas and LMS as a whole. I've got my HR person looking for someone with Canvas experience who can help create a professional-looking platform and advise our design and use through Dec. Because it's a small project, we've been advised to use Canvas Free for Teachers.
Honestly, I'm sure it's not a complex course (2 virtual modules, and 3 one-day sessions), but I don't have the bandwidth to get up to speed on the platform.
It's a temporary project/gig for an amazing, inspirational organization, so I'm looking for where to go to hire a Canvas rock star.
Any guidance?
Kevin
Hi Kevin,
I've been using Canvas to deliver my courses for 5 years now at a University. I have spent many hours on the phone and chat with Canvas support learning how to improve my courses. I know the platform really well. I'd be happy to talk more about what you're hoping to do with this course to see if it's a good fit.
Best,
Jennifer
Jennifer,
If you wouldn't mind, I'd love to connect on e-mail and discuss what I need and what you do :).
Thanks@
Hi Jennifer,
I would be interested in chatting with you to see if things will work for us. I am interested in learning Canvas "short-cuts" and any automations. I know the very basics of Canvas, but wish to learn more.
Are you still available to help with Canvas? I need to get my course up asap. Drowning in tutorials. Thanks!
I would like to help. Please reach out to nev@heatley.nyc so we may discuss initial details. Thanks.

@KevinBasik ...
Looks like you're getting some great help here already! Thanks for those who have already offered to work with you! I thought I'd mention a set of video tutorials created by Ashlee Espinosa out on YouTube. They are a great resource, and you might want to at least bookmark them in your favorite web browser so you can come back to them at a later time. Here's a link for you:

Hope this will help a bit!
