Outcomes Use and Commitment

How many of you make extensive use of Canvas Outcomes? Do you link it up to a 3rd party product or use it only in Canvas? How much training and support do you give instructors? Is there a dedicated Outcomes Admin on your campus? How much work is managing Outcomes on the Canvas side?

Thanks for any advice you can give. We are starting our first semester with Canvas next week.

We use outcomes for a few of our courses.  Outcomes are a bit strange and we found it difficult to track down the actual equations used for calculations.

We have a course that gives basic instructions and trained our Assessment dean in the use of Canvas outcomes.

We don't have a team handling Canvas Outcomes.  I am the one that imports outcomes and provides a report each term to our Assessment dean.  The Assessment dean has a team that deals with all things assessment.

We use Watermark and it does not manage or import Canvas outcome data.

I think mist of us would agree that Canvas Outcomes is a great idea, but underdeveloped. How it is linked to Rubrics has a lot of easy of use, it does not really make it useful. If there was another way to associate the outcome to assessment results, then this tool would be more widely used.
