Columns for Total Late and Missing Assignments

I know that I can click on a student name in gradebook to see their total number of missing or late assignments, but that means having to individually click each name or count red/blue boxes across each row. It would be great to have two columns in the spreadsheet that show the current number of missing or late assignments.

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.

Problem statement:

Our old gradebook showed the total number of assignments marked "missing" in a column next to the student names. In Canvas, I have to individually click the student name to get a total number of missing assignments. This is extremely tedious and should be included as a column directly in the gradebook.

Proposed solution:

Our old gradebook showed the total number of assignments marked "missing" in a column next to the student names.
