LTI Integration with Groups

We have found that instructors at our institution would like to be able to use LTIs within groups. For instance, one instructor has different videos in Kaltura for different groups and want to go into a group and post the video just for those students. Other instructors want to be able to set up Zoom sessions for specific groups or allow Kaltura Media Gallery functionality within groups.

I teach Public Speaking online. With a course cap of 24 and the limit of 16 weeks (or 6 weeks in summer) it is unwieldy to have students watch and respond to 24 posted videos in one Discussion group. If I were able to put them in groups (8 or less) then assigning them those speeches to peer evaluate, the timing, grading, etc. becomes more doable. Not to mention a "community" is formed.

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
