Remove Studio from taskbar (limit student access ability)

Would like to have the ability to prevent students' from recording in Studio, unless assigned to them or similar function. Example: student is going in to Studio, from the taskbar, not the course navigation links, and recording himself on video and audio when they should be working on other tasks in class. There needs to be a way to control student access to this feature to prevent misuse.

@Dgarrett1 do you mean you'd like to remove the Studio link in the menu bar at left that also includes links to Account, Dashboard, Courses, etc.?  If so, an account administrator should be able to remove this link by modifying the app placements as follows:

  1. Select Admin from the menu, then the account.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select the Apps tab.
  4. Select View App Configurations.
  5. For Studio, select the Settings (cog) icon, then Placements.
  6. Uncheck the Global Navigation option, then close the pop-up lightbox.

After taking the steps above, you may need to clear your browser cache to see the link removed from the menu.
