Enhance Education with Canvas Assessments
The start of a new term is around the corner. With end users more familiar with Canvas, it’s a good moment to introduce Instructors to the power of online assignments, and encourage them to make the transition to more equitable assessment.
How can you achieve this?
Impact now offers a suite of Out-of-the-Box (OOTB) campaigns strategically crafted to boost the adoption of Canvas Assessments among your Instructors and Students. In order to empower the adoption of Canvas assignments within the classroom environment, our campaigns are designed to align with the ADKAR change management model.
A total of five Instructor and two Student assessment-focused campaigns can be launched strategically throughout the academic term(s) to support your users through the process of implementing equitable assessments. These campaigns help convince users of their importance, including providing knowledge of ability and reinforcement of best practices.
Note: To successfully release the campaigns, please ensure that the Assignment Enhancement feature option is off on Canvas settings and that the respective tool category toggle is off on your Impact Dashboard.
Measure the Impact
Our OOTB campaigns offer a set of monitor categories to help you track adoption progress. You can use the generated insights to make data-driven decisions.
Based on the tool adoption outcomes from the initial campaign, you can target specific user groups according to their need for further support. For example, you can launch a more targeted campaign to increase adoption of online assessment tools only among the users who need further guidance, without causing repetition and cognitive overload to those instructors who are already onboard.
As you can see in the figure below, you can create new campaigns by targeting users based on their activity.
