[Walkthroughs] Ability to assign to individuals

Problem statement:

Problem: Currently messages, walkthroughs, etc. can only be assigned to groups. This means I cannot assign something to individuals, which I often want to do.

1. Use cases: \We are a smaller university, and I am often onboarding 1-2 faculty at a time, and I would love to be able to assign walkthroughs to them as individuals, rather than make a custom group of 1 person. I am training them in small batches so I try to customize the training to the individual, rather than having a generic learning path they all have to go through.
2. Testing, I would like to be able to assign them to myself for testing purposes.
3. Student support requests, we sometimes get students who are struggling to figure out something in Canvas, and it would be ideal to be able to assign an appropriate walkthrough to them, and not their entire cohort.

Proposed solution:

Add the ability to assign to any individual user in the Canvas instance so that the use cases above can be more easily addressed without creating many custom user groups.

Hi @loliveira ! This is a great suggestion! To achieve this in the meantime, I would recommend placing the walkthrough or message within a campaign. A campaign will allow you to pick individual users to target with guidance and microlearning opportunities.
