Hey there, is this meeting happening still or getting rescheduled? It's 10 mins past, I'm trying to join, and it still says 'waiting for host to start meeting.' It's my first one of these, wanting to make sure it's not user error, here.
On my community screen here, it says the event starts at 2pm EDT, so that's about another hour and 20 minutes from right now. You may have been viewing the wrong time zone or something similar.
I had this same issue. It ends up that the link I had was a Microsoft Teams Meeting. Buried in the description of the event was a Zoom meeting link, which got me to the event (10 minutes late).
