Whether this was your first or fifth keynote address, I hope you found a great take away to evaluate what you are bringing to the world in terms of empathy. I think we have all seen the difference it makes in our own lives when someone treats us with real understanding. As educators and education supporters we interact with 100s and 1000s of students in our careers. Think of the difference it will make as we all return to our classrooms and strive to respond with more empathy to everyone around us.
