In 2016, Ball State and Turner Classic Movies (TCM) taught the MOOC "Painfully Funny: Exploring Slapstick in the Movies" on Canvas Network. Both institutions used this course to test new approaches for online edutainment courses. In this presentation, we'll share innovation around video design and production, social media curation, mobile design, micro learning, and badging. We'll also discuss the benefits of teaching and learning experimentation on the Canvas Network.
