Abstract / Session Overview
I started teaching online before the pandemic, and I wanted to know if I made a successful transition from in-person teaching. I used Chickering and Gamson’s Seven Principles For Good Practice in Undergraduate Education for that assessment, and I empowered my students to be the assessors. Canvas surveys made it easy to conduct the assessment, analyze the results, and compare from semester to semester. In this session I’ll share the method I used to collect feedback from students and what they told me about their online learning experience and my skills as an online teacher.
