The whole Instructurecon experience was excellent! I don't recall being to a conference where this amount of new development, services and features were shown in practical, live demonstrations, and actively discussed with those that build them. Very excited for what's to come over the next year. However, a few did stand out:

• "Leading Through Chaos"...specifically the part of the session with Dr. Rodney Parks from Elon University talking about their use of the Comprehensive Learner Record to create a full picture of the spectrum of learning that creates value for everyone including educators, learners and employers.
  
  
• "Enhancing Virtual Classrooms with Analytics" by Fred Dixon from Blindside Networks. I always dismissed Big Blue Button as mainly a conferencing product, but the data that it gathers and assembles to support student (and faculty) success is incredible.
  
  
• "Comprehensively Addressing Student AI use in Online Learning" by Mike Agostinelli at Montana Digital Academy. Lots of great experiences and resources shared to guide more novice users into the AI space safely and effectively.
  
  
• "Unraveling the Mysteries of LTIs" with Alexis and Teryn. Great overview of the new "apps space" in Canvas, with practical demonstrations, admin engagement and a sincere request for feedback.

While there were a lot of great sessions - I want to give a shout out to a type of presentation that doesn't usually get a lot of attention: poster session.

Presenter: Koichi Sato, from one of my alma maters University of South Florida (go bulls!)

First let's give it up for the USF swag! Next, his poster was interesting, attractive, and well developed. During his presentation, he was approachable and interested in connecting with others through his project storyline. He made it easy to contact him in the future for follow-up. This is a video he used to promote his session prior to the conference.
