Keyboard shortcut for submission comments no longer works in SpeedGrader

This behavior has been resolved and deployed to the production environment as of 4/15/25.

Description

When attempting to use the keyboard shortcut - 'c' - for submission comments in SpeedGrader, it no longer starts a new comment

Expected Behavior

The 'c' keyboard shortcut should start a new submission comment in SpeedGrader

Workaround

No workaround exists at this time.

Steps to Reproduce

Prerequisites: Have course with a few student enrollments and a graded assignment.

  1. As the teacher navigate to the SpeedGrader of the assignment.

  2. Press 'c' on the keyboard.

  3. Observe that nothing happens.
