Broken audio in RCE content after manual content import

This behavior has been resolved and deployed to the production environment as of 6/05/24.

Description

Audio embed in rce content copied to a new course via manually importing an imscc package are showing a broken message in their embedded content and don’t play in the files section either.

Expected Behavior

Audio embeds should properly play in content when migrated via imscc package.

Workaround

No workaround exists at this time.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Created a page with an audio embed that was recorded directly in the RCE and publish it.

  2. Export the course to an imscc package in the settings page

  3. Import the package into a second course including all files and pages in the package

  4. Note the audio files show in the files area but do not let you preview

  5. You get an access denied error when trying to view the audio files in the page
