[OPEN] [a11y] Down arrow jumps focus to top of page after adding item to module
Engineers are currently investigating the issue.
Description
When a user adds an item to a module, while using JAWS, and presses the down arrow to navigate to add another item, the focus will jump to the top of the screen. If the user presses tab the focus moves to the next item to be added to the module.
Expected Behavior
Down arrow navigation should move to the next item on the page, instead of jumping to the top.
Workaround
No workaround exists at this time.
Steps to Reproduce
Prerequisite: JAWS and a course
-
Create multiple modules in a course.
-
Using keyboard navigations add an item to the module.
-
After successfully adding an item use the down arrow to add more.
-
Notice the focus jumps to the top of the page.
