If I'm creating a new standard for one class (tracker), how do I use these standards when creating trackers for other classes?
@RapheliaRivas - That's a good question. If you create a new standard on a tracker, one way to use it on other trackers would be to create a curriculum map from that tracker and then use the new curriculum map to create additional trackers.
A Mastery Connect admin can also create custom standards for you to use. They can create a new "course" as a holding place for custom standards, as described in this article:How do I create custom standards in a new course in Mastery Connect? The admin can set the "Subject" of the course to "Other Subjects" and populate it with custom standards. Then, to use the custom standards in a tracker, follow steps to add standards to the tracker as you have been, but click the Select from Existing tab. When selecting standards, select "Other Subjects" as the Subject. For the "Core", scroll all the way to the top of the list and select the option titled "CSTM: [district name]". For "Class", select the name of the course. Then you can select the existing standards that your admin populated for you in that course. I hope this helps! - Jen
