MasteryConnect Release Notes (2020-09-19)

In this MasteryConnect release (September 19), MasteryConnect assessments can be used as a primary assignment type in Canvas.

Note: A Canvas Admin will need to delete an institution's MasteryConnect integration and then reinstall MasteryConnect as an LTI tool for this update to be present in a Canvas account.

  New Feature

Canvas Assignment to MasteryConnect Assessment Linker

MasteryConnect assessments can be used as a primary assignment type in Canvas. This change allows instructors to easily link a MasteryConnect assessment to a Canvas assignment.

Additionally, instructors can set a limit for submission attempts, select who to assign to the assessment, schedule an optional due date, or set a window of time for assessment availability.
