Is anybody from Canvas engaging here?

We have many questions at my institution as well and Canvas doesn't seem to care. They have their email support teams, but no real training or guides to help construct and manage an efficient LMS system. There is no good explanation of Blueprint courses or Sub-account migration for our SIS available. We are generally operating blindly. If/when Canvas support does answer some of our inquiries they usually lead to more and more questions.

That's our situation, too. Almost all of our courses are blueprints that get blasted out to sections. When there's a question or an issue, you are at the mercy of the fates as to who at Canvas will respond. They suggest, we try, it fails, we come back and get an entirely different person and have to explain things all over again. I would give a lot to at least be able to contact support team members who specialize in supporting a certain area of Canvas. And I'd give a lot to have an attendance tool that generates a file that can be automatically imported into a SIS.

I'm not sure if you're aware, but you've posted this question and conversation in a specialized group about analytics. While there is some activity and eyes in here it is not nearly as seen as the Canvas Question Forum.

You mentioned guides and how to steps for Blueprint courses.  You may find the last 5 guides in the  Admin Guide - Courses and Sections section helpful? If you're looking for Instructor guides, you can find them in  Instructor Guide

There was also mention of SIS Guides.  You can find them at  Student Information Systems (SIS). Our support team does have an advanced and dedicated team for SIS. As SIS tickets are escalated, that team handles them!

I'm sorry you felt this was a scolding - such a thing would be completely contrary to our Community guidelines.

You're initial question was if anyone from Canvas was engaging in this group.  The answer is yes, but maybe not in the way you expect? 

As I read more in the thread, I was unsure if your question was directly related to New Analytics, or if you were seeking broader assistance, because there were varying topics in thread.
