Change Default View of New Quizzes

Hello,

When editing a New Quiz the quiz automatically hides the course navigation. 

I notice that the URL of any new quiz has this at the end of it ?display=full_width which automatically hides the course navigation. Is there a reason for this and is there a way for it to default not display in full width? If you remove that piece of text it shows the course navigation.

An instructor at my institution prefers to have the course navigation visible at all times and is requesting this.

Hi,

I am not sure about this, but it might be a protocol with your school.  When I tested it out on my end at SBCC, New Quizzes showed me my last view of the course navigation bar.  If I have it hidden, it remains hidden, and vice versa.

Hi, 

Thank you for your response. I don't mean the option to hide the navigation. What I meant is that when using the "Build" option in New Quizzes it removes the navigation completely.
