Editing and Copying New Quizzes

Teachers are editing a quiz question in "Classic Quizzes" then copying the edited quiz to a new class.  When students open the edited version that was copied into a new class (in the new Quizzes), then it's the old version that somehow appears.  Any ideas?

Hello @ALLISONKINGSTO1 ...

Since it is a Classic Quiz that you are referring to, are you sure that the teachers are saving the details of the edited question and then saving the quiz as a whole?  As you may know, if you edit a quiz question without saving (updating) that question and instead click on the button to save the quiz as a whole, that question does not get updated in the quiz, and the instructor would have to go back into the quiz to edit the question again...this time making sure to save the edits to the question itself before saving the question as a whole.

Your teachers may already be doing this, but I thought I'd double check to make sure.
