How to integrate a lockdown browser with Canvas Classic and New Quizzes?

We are wanting to integrate a lockdown browser similar to the Respondus Lockdown Browser so that it can be used with Canvas Classic and NewQuizzes.

Here are some pieces we think will be needed:

1. Canvas assignment setting to require the browser. I think we can do this with an LTI placement.

2. Launch the browser when the students try to access the quiz/assignment.

3. Check headers with every request to prevent access if the headers aren't sent.

4. Show a report view when teachers access it. I think we can do this with an LTI placement.

Is this currently possible for both Classic and New Quizzes?

If not, is work is underway to make it possible?

I'm afraid your question isn't clear.  Are you trying to set up Respondus LockDown Browser?  Or are you looking for a product similar to Respondus LockDown Browser?  Or are you trying to develop a secure browser product of your own?

Hi @mzimmerman, Sorry for the confusion. We are working with a partner who has created a secure browser product similar to the Respondus Lockdown Browser that they want to integrate with Canvas Classic Quizzes and Canvas New Quizzes.
