[New Quizzes] How to Recover When the /Undelete feature Does Not Work?

Hi everyone,

I copied a New Quiz over from course section 1 to course section 2.

While working with a student and making real-time edits, I accidentally deleted this quiz. It was listed under "Imported assignments" in section 2 as of Monday 10/7 afternoon.

Today, 10/8 evening, I went to the "/undelete" link for section 2 to try and recover it, but there was no listing for it.

I'm guessing that the New Quizzes might not be recoverable through the standard undelete feature.

Is it gone forever?  Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello @andrew_ippolito,

It is sometimes the case that there are so many things to be undeleted that they do not all fit on the page. There is no indication of this in the interface either. Sometimes, when I recover things from the undelete page and then refresh it, I find there are new things available for me to recover. It is possible this is the case, unless you have less than ~20 items on the undelete page.
I just deleted a new quiz in my sandbox. I found it on my undelete page as an Assignment (since it's an external tool).
