New Quizzes Item Banks not visible to instructors from blueprinted courses

I have noticed when I push blueprint courses to live sections of courses that the instructor in the course does not have access to the item banks in the course.  In order for the instructor to have access to the item banks they have to be shared.  This makes it really difficult when you have 10-12 live sections running each term and over 1500 blueprints to manage.  Not a sustainable process for instructional designers.  Anyone else running into this issue?

Thanks for posting this in the Canvas Community! 

I was able to confirm that this is the case if you are using Blueprints to push content to associated courses. I tested this a bit and it appears that New quizzes linked to Item banks will push over to the associated courses. However, the instructor does not have access to the item bank unless it is shared with them. 

The only work around I have found is to share it with the instructor, unfortunately.
