I am a district-based coach and created a course with 30+ New Quizzes so they can copy them into their courses to use with students. The other teachers were added as teachers into the course so they could copy them. It was working, but over the last few weeks, we keep getting an error message - see attachment. Even if I try to duplicate the quiz in the same course, I get the same error. Is anyone else having an issue with copying New Quizzes?
We tested with Classic Quizzes and those are copying just fine. We do not want to convert our New Quizzes to Classic because we need the stimulus and the Outcome Mastery by item, not by overall quiz.
Solved! Go to Solution.
The problem was that with new quizzes you have to "build" the quiz before you can copy it. (You don't have to put any questions in, you just have to click "build.")
I am currently having this issue. Very frustrating.

Nope. The build button was definitely clicked.
@Jeremy_ESVCA we had an issue similar to this--trying to copy multiple empty new quizzes to have them ready for the term and the thing we found is that you have to have SOMETHING inside the test for it to copy--we just put "Add Instructions" in the instruction box and it copied fine after that. It's like it needs something in there to be willing to make the copy. Hope that helps you!
