New Quizzes and Learning Mastery Gradebook

I am trying to figure out how to get my New Quiz outcome information included in my Learning Mastery Gradebook. I have looked around the guides and community pages and all I see are posts about the same issue from years ago. I would really love to use the learning mastery gradebook this next year to help guide my teaching but without the quiz data transferring I wont be able to accurately use my data. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix me not being able to see it or know if this issue ever got fixed?

Hi @haliehagerty1 - I'm excited to announce that we've started development to connect New Quiz data with outcome alignments to the Learning Mastery Gradebook and Outcomes reporting (e.g. .csv admin reports).

We are planning to use New Quizzes and Outcomes.  I understand from the previous post that New Quizzes outcome results transferring to the Learning Mastery Gradebook was under development.  Has this feature been added or is it still under development?  Thanks, I hope so!

It is now nearly the end of 2024 and this feature still is not working in Canvas. What is the purpose of New Quizzes if it is only half developed? I can not get anything from new quizzes to report in the mastery gradebook.

When is this going to work?   So many districts are moving to standards based grading, we need to be able to report on the standards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good news! I was able to record and demonstrate an issue with a live course recently where New Quizzes was losing assigned outcome alignments. We reported the issue and recording to our Canvas Rep and we just heard back that the bug has been identified and a fix is being issued. The fix is in testing now. Hopefully soon New Quizzes will retain outcome alignments and reporting to the Mastery Gradebook.
