Do Canvas Badges expire after a course ends?

I am a student who is new in my course, but I am wondering what happens after the class is over. I looked through the Credentials/Badges page in Canvas and searched the help guides, but I didn’t see a clear answer. My question is: will I still be able to access and share my badges after the course is finished, or do they expire once the course closes?

Hi @RannaAlomari,

Credentials will generally be stored in your digital backpack, and be available outside of your courses (and after they are over),  While this is true in general, it's always a good idea to ask your local school/institution if they are doing things differently just to be sure (Community users like myself can't see anything specific about your account or course setups, so we can't answer definitively).
