Transfer badge from one issuer to another

TL;DR: I want to transfer a badge (and its list of awardees) from one issuer to another

We have a Credentials license and are expanding how we use badges. We have an issuer that has been awarding badges for professional development, and we piloted additional professional development badges. That pilot has been successful, and we now have several staff who will be awarding badges and have need to view the list of awardees. Their tasks include downloading the list of awardees, and I want them to be able to do that without having to filter the downloaded lists. I want to move those badges and their list of awardees to another issuer with the same account. How can we do this?

There is a way to associate a personal Issuer to an Organization. You would need to be listed as an Organization Admin to be able to do so.

The way to move an Issuer from a personal account to an Organization would be to first be listed on the personal Issuer as an Owner.

If the Organization Admin is not listed as an Owner on the Issuer, then they would need to be added first. Here is a reference for adding users as Staff to be Owners on an Issuer: 

Once you are an Owner, you can then associate the Issuer to your Organization.

If you do not have an Organization you can import badges into personal Issuer, but this will not bring the badge awards across to the new Issuer. Here is a reference for importing badges: Importing Badges

Thanks for that response, @cstrikwerda . In my case I want to switch the badge from one Issuer to another within the same Organization (not have a personal issuer join the organizational issuer). I am the Owner of the Organization. We have a couple of org units that award Credentials to employees, but the Staff members who do the awarding are different. In order to make things easier for Staff members I want to use a distinct Issuer for each org unit that issues Credentials. I created the Credentials within the same Issuer and want to move some of those Credentials to the new Issuer that I created. Moving the Staff from the old Issuer to the new one is easy, and I would like to move some of the Credentials and their Recipients from the old Issuer to the new one without having to re-create and re-award the Credentials. Does that make sense?

Thanks for clarifying that for us. You would want to import the badge from the Issuer to be moved to the target Issuer. This will not bring badge awards across and these badges would need to be re-awarded in the new Issuer.
