Editing course assignments as a grader

Hi there,

I am a grader for a class and the instructor recently asked me to edit the current assignments to only be due to certain people. I don't see the option to edit or create assignments and I am guessing this is because I am just a grader. Is there a way for my instructor to give me the privilege to edit the assignments or do I need to be listed as an instructor/TA?

Hi @hannathegrader 

Many schools restrict instructors from this permission, but if your instructor is able to change user roles, this guide will help, How do I edit user roles in a course? 

If your instructor does not have permission to do this, then they will need to contact your school's Canvas Admin/Support Department.
