how to I get average for calculated column?

how to I get average for calculated column? I have totals for quizzes, discussions, tests and homework. I have them weighted for overall course grade. I can see average for a quiz, but not for quiz total or any total. In blackboard I could see column statistics, not in Canvas, not even in New Analytics. I tried downloading into Excel, and it was a total mess. Thanks for any help,

I don't know of a way to do so in Canvas.  I think you'd have to use Excel.  This guide explains what all that Read Only mess is on the export.
