Blueprint Assignment Sync to SIS

When creating an assignment on a blueprint, if the Sync to SIS/Sync to Synergy is checked should that selection sync with the associated courses once the blueprint sync is complete? 

We have been blueprinting our courses for several years, this is the first year teachers are stating that they need to go into each associated course to select the sync to sis.  We did switch from eSchool to Synergy this year, does that have something to do with it?

I am not familiar with Synergy or eSchool. It is likely that the change is connected, or at least whatever default settings they use. Have you looked at the Canvas guides for Synergy to see if it has an option for default settings? That might be a starting spot if there is not someone else on here familiar with Synergy (I hope there is and they can assist).
