I keep getting these two errors when I try to sync Canvas to PowerSchool. What am I doing wrong?
Grade exchange job failed. Status in SIS: failed -

Some things to check:
1) Is the teacher of record present in the course? I ask because if the teacher of record has left, but it hasn't changed in PS and they get removed from the course, then grade sync can be a little wonky. Make sure that the teacher of record stays in the course.
2) Is the teacher of record correct in PowerSchool?
Additionally have you reported this to your Canvas Admin? They can help with the issue by checking your account and making sure that looks right and/or put in a SIS ticket for you to contact Canvas support about this error.
Based on the second message it looks like something is wrong with getting the Integration ID, which bridges the gap between PowerSchool and Canvas.
@ColleenCroy Ah, so it's for a particular assignment.
Let me know if you've tried the following:
1) Remaster Grade Passback
2) Reset Integration Data (your admin would've done this)
1) Remaster Grade Passback- Can I do this? If so how do I do it?
Yes, you can do this via these instructions here:

@ColleenCroy Also, totally forgot to ask, is this assignment by any chance differentiated? As in, not all students get this assignment? I'm assuming not, since it's an exit ticket 🙂
No, it is assigned to all students. Admin said they would try I got Lesson 17 Homework to sync over after admin tried. Tried to sync the next lesson and have a failed code and it is not showing up in passback.
Same error both times I tried. I do now have 3 assignments synced over.

Has your admin tried Clearing the Integration Data? How do I reset Canvas PowerSchool grade integratio... - Instructure Community - 523896
That's the last troubleshooting step I can think of.
I sent it to admin to try. I clicked sync on all mine and got errors so I tried one at a time trying to pinpoint errors. It is so weird some of them sync over beautifully and the next one won't sync over. I was getting that same error for exit ticket 17 and now it just went. So tried syncing the next one and got the same error.
I have a new error:
Assignment categories do not match across all sections in PowerTeacher Pro or were not imported properly. Once verifying all categories match across all sections, please reimport categories and reattempt grade sync.
Now what do I do?
How do you import the categories from PS? I have followed instructions but I don't have an import button. How do we fix that?
I don't have the option "Sync SIS Categories"
How do we enable that?
That's a question for your Canvas Admin. Unfortunately I can't troubleshoot that from the Community as I don't have access to your instance.
The Integration Data reset shouldn't have removed that option from your course, as all it does is just resets the link between your course in Canvas and the PowerSchool gradebook. You should be able to sync the SIS categories and then re-sync your grades over.
