Should you be able to sync the grades for an assignment to one section at a time?

There is this odd behavior that if you sync grades for an assignment for one section, then it won't let you sync the grades for that assignment for any of the other sections afterwards.  My school's tech team says that Canvas doesn't consider this a bug because it is the intended behavior.  However, I don't see this noted anywhere and so I wonder if it is in fact a bug (it seems like a bug).

Hi @ezaurova,

Can you please give us some more info about the grade syncing you're referring to?  Is ti syncing grades from Canvas back to your school's student information system (sis), syncing grades form an external tool back to the Canvas gradebook, or something else?  If you can provide a bit more detail, I'm hoping someone will be able to provide you with a solid answer.
